Terms & Conditions

Purchase Orders:

Please ensure that all purchase orders include the correct product description, code and finish required.


Cancellations and Amendments to Orders:

All your furniture is made to order, any cancellation or amendment to ordered items will only be accepted only if previously agreed with Early Years Educational in writing. Any item which includes upholstery is NON RETURNABLE. If you have placed an order more than 48 hours ago and wish to cancel, an administration charge may be payable. If your goods have been shipped or manufactured and we have incurred delivery/manufacturing expenses we have no option but to charge delivery, return costs and re-stocking fee. The amount charged will depend upon the type and size of goods. Goods must be returned at your own expense.



All prices quoted are based on delivery to the nearest undercover point, some products may include installation. Delivery dates quoted are approximate only and Early Years Educational shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of goods which is beyond reasonable control. Deliveries are direct to your requested delivery destination via our allocated third party transport. All goods must be checked and signed for at the time of delivery.  Failure to report shortages/damages at the time of delivery could jeopardise our ability to obtain replacements or repair. Once a delivery has been signed for no claim for shortages will be accepted, however any damaged products must be reported in writing within 2 working days. You should always satisfy yourself that deliveries are correct before signing for goods. The company accepts no responsibility for third party shipment/collection. This being that goods shipped direct to our customers for onward shipment to a third party, will cease to be the responsibility of the Company for the purpose of the Damaged or Non-Damaged goods returns policy. These items will then become the subject of responsibility between the customer and their couriers. All goods received damaged should be refused and not signed for. Signing for the goods is seen as indication to the courier companies that the goods have been received in an undamaged state. Deliveries should ALWAYS be checked BEFORE goods are signed for.  No claims will be accepted in the event of damaged goods being received and signed for. The words “unexamined”, “unchecked” or similar will not be accepted as a conditional signature.


Failed or Rejected Deliveries:

We reserve the right to charge transport costs and storage for any aborted delivery by the customer.



All our products are manufactured to the highest quality, the vast majority in a hi-tech facility in the United Kingdom. As such, we are able to offer you a genuine warranty on all our products. Please contact our customer service team for further information on individual products. All products are warranted against manufacturing defects, except for all moving parts (mechanisms, castors, drawers) and seating upholstery which are subject to usage related wear and tear. Early Years Educational reserves the right not to apply the warranty in cases of inappropriate use or when the product has been tampered with by a third party or interventions by non-authorised personnel.



All prices quoted are in GBP and exclude VAT. For orders made from the UK VAT is added at the appropriate rate.


Payment Terms:

For private establishments/individuals, payment is required at the time of ordering.

All Government bodies including Councils, Local Authority Nurseries, Schools, Colleges, Universities, NHS etc. are offered an account facility on our 30 day payment terms. Our payment terms are strictly 30 days NET. All invoice payments should be made within 30 days of the invoice date. We reserve the right to charge interest and/or late fees on any overdue accounts.  Kindly note there is a credit limit on all new accounts opened, the limit is set according to total order value and type of organisation. All goods shall remain the property of Early Years Educational until payment has been received in full.


How to Pay:

Account holders may pay invoices by cheque, bankers draft or BACS to reach Early Years Educational within 30 days from the date of invoice. For private establishments/individual customers payment is required with order. We accept cheques, bankers draft and BACS payment..

All cheques/Bankers Drafts should be made payable to Early Years Educational Supplies and posted to Early Years Educational Supplies, 8 Experian Way, NG2 Business Park, Nottingham NG2 1EP.
